To keep your graphic tees in great condition, start by pretreating any stains with a gentle stain remover before washing.

Turn the tees inside out and wash them with similar colors in smaller loads. Set your washing machine to a low-soil setting and use non-abrasive, gentle, or organic detergents.

Avoid chlorine bleach or fabric softeners, and always opt for cold water.

For extra care, consider hand-washing your tees, though this step is optional.

Pro tip: use cold water when washing your t-shirts.

Hot water increses the chances of your t-shirt shrinking which can lead to your graphic cracking or fading.

How to Dry your t-shirt so it doesn’t shrink or fade!

High heat can shrink cotton tees, including preshrunk ones. The repeated shrinking and stretching weakens the fabric over time, leading to holes, rips, and tears.

Inks like liquid plastisol, DTG, and water-based inks cure at temperatures between 290-350°F. Once set and cooled, exposing the ink to high heat again can cause it to deteriorate.

Fading, cracking, and peeling of graphic prints are often due to excessive heat after curing. To best preserve your graphic tees, air dry them on a clothesline or drying rack.
